- MSR PocketRocket 2 Stove:
I've used this lightweight and compact cooking stove on many multiday trips. It boils water in about 3 minutes for meals or warm beverages. It has never let me down and I enjoy using it.
- TOAKS Titanium 750ml Pot:
This is the main pot I use to boil water on trips. It is lightweight and compact. A great combination with the PocketRocket 2.
- TOAKS Titanium Long Spoon:
A great long spoon for stirring and eating..
- Mountain House Meals:
A well established dry meal manufacturer with some solid flavors.
- Atkins Bars:
These protein packed meal bars are my go to meals not just when actively hiking but also in many other situations such as long work days when I can't get to a good meal and also for diet targeted dessert food.
- REI Quarter Dome SL 1:
This is a great lightweight backpacking tent that REI has listed at weighing 2 lbs 6 oz for a packed weight. It sets up and breaks down very quickly and easily. I have yet to be rained on in this tent.
- REI Half Dome SL 3+:
Now this tent I have been rained on, and downpoured on all night, with 2 family members inside with me. This is the tent I use with family. I was nervous the first time it rained but it held up incredibly during a chilly rainstorm in the White Mountains and we remained completely dry all night. Definitely a solid tent.
- Nemo Forte 35:
I've used this bag in temps of 45°F to 55°F. I've had comfortable nights in this bag.
- Nemo Disco 15:
My cold weather bag. The coldest I've used this was 39°F. I was comfortable at that temp with a thin layer of clothes on.
- Nemo Tensor Pad:
A great pad for backpacking. I recommend getting the large if around 6'0ft tall.
- GoPro Hero 9 Black:
I recently upgraded my GoPro 7 to the 9. The 9 is the first GoPro with a front facing camera and shoots beautiful video up to 5K.
